Oh! what a beautiful morning!! Oh! what a beautiful day!

...and everything went my way! We enjoyed the outdoors today. We planted sunflower seeds in a cup. We will transplant later in various places around our area. We then wrote in our journal about planting. Another great day in kindergarten. Have a wonderful weekend. Check in Monday for more adventures!

The Art Fair

The Art Fair (which is different from the Garden Party/Art show) will be an event that you view all of the other grades art work as well. Mrs. Eswine will frame one piece of art work for each child, and you will be able to purchase for 32.09. Amelia's was ready early so that she could take it for her. The picture is an example of you will get. Our class did a spring watercolor. The colors are very bright and beautiful.

Good-bye Amelia, We will miss you!!

We said goodbye to our good friend, Amelia, today. We will miss her! We had lunch in the classroom and enjoyed our last day with Ameila. No Nap today! We watched a little C&D (Chip and Dale)instead.

Preview of the Art Show

We have been very busy putting the finishing touches on the art pieces that we are planning on displaying next Thursday. We will show several pieces that are in the art style of Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Claude Monet. Please make sure that you have sent your RSVP for the Garden Party/Art Show on Thursday, April 22 at 11:30 AM. In the above photos, can you spot the copy of an original Van Gogh? Thanks for checking. Tune in tomorrow for more news from the Busy Hornets Nest!
